WANT TO AVOID A BREAKUP OR DIVORCE?

Want To Avoid a Divorce or a Breakup? Heal Your Relationship Before It’s Too Late.

Do you want to avoid a divorce or a Breakup? Yes?

Then you need to heal your relationship before it is too late.

 1. DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDS AND UPBRINGINGS.

It is important to remember that you and your partner came from different parents, had different

upbringings and therefore, see the world from the perspectives of your individual upbringing.

That said, it does not mean that two people cannot “merge” when they decide to get married or start a serious relationship.

If you and your partner are currently struggle to see eye-to-eye, there are a few things you can do stratight away,

to avoid a disaster hitting your relationship.

2. TALK ABOUT THE ISSUES.

Yes, communication is key. A relationship that has no healthy communication within it dies quickly,

because each partner will feel unheard and un-appreciated. However, when the relationship is already strained,

communication can become very difficult.  That is why it is vitally important that you do not put talking off

about the issues.

 3. DO NOT BEAR GRUDGES.

Bearing grudges is one quick way to break up your relationship. There are some people who find it very

difficult to let go of a pain, a harsh word or a betrayal that they suffered at the hands of a loved one.

Well, if you really love someone, you will be willing to forgive them when they have done something you

find disappointing – as long as they have apologised sincerely. If you ever do anything wrong yourself, you

would want to be forgiven too. Asking for forgiveness shows humility and it will help you and your partner heal

from any pain that has been caused.

3. BE VERY SINCERE.

One easy way to break your trust with someone is by being deceptive, and insincere. If your partner finds out

that you have been lying to him/her or have been deliberately deceptive, then you are the one who is craving

for a breakup or a divorce. No one likes to be deceived or made a fool of.

Always “do unto your partner, as you would like your partner to do unto you”!

4. DON’T BE TOO PROUD TO SAY “SORRY”.

Are you one of the very proud people who can’t stoop to the level where you are seen to be “weak” ,

by admitting that you have done something wrong? Well, if you are, you would very soon create a

massive “hole” in your relationship. Your partner would continue to bear you grudges and when his/her

“cup is full and overflowing” with too many of your wrong-doings, then, repairing that relationship

would, indeed, be very difficult.

5. ARE YOU CHEATING ON YOUR PARTNER?

If you are, you will have yourself to blame for the problems in your relationship.

If you were married legally, committing adultery, for whatever reason, is a good ground for a divorce.

Instead of cheating on your partner with someone else, make some time to discuss your sex life with your partner.

If you both are determined to keep your relationship happy, talking about what you like and how you like

it, in an honest way, will help you both get over your problems.

There are, of course,  many more issues that can affect the happiness of a couple and

their children if they have any. That is why, talking with someone like me, a Couples’ and Family Therapist ,

can be very useful in helping you heal your relationship. That way, you won’t end up having a divorce,

which, on its on, is a sure heartbreaker!

GET THERAPY FOR YOUR RELATIONSHIP BEFORE  IT IS TOO LATE.

If your relationship is truly important to you, it is a good idea to get counselling,

coaching or therapy before it becomes too late.

I can offer you and your partner  bespoke coaching or therapy sessions that will enable you speak

confidentially to a third party – me- without the fear of being judged or mocked.

I will help you and your partner by meeting with you individaully first – so you can feel free and safe to speak your mind.

After a few sessions with each of you, we can then organise a group meeting to discuss your progress.

You will need to be willing to participate fully and take your therapy sessions very seriously.
